Decline in Rains

The short rains season seems to be ending soon here in western Kenya. Days are now characterised by scathing sun rays and hot airwaves. Nights are getting colder. It rains at most once a week and most vegetation is drying up. I have quickly shifted from spending time on crops to spending more time on the birds. My worry is that I might lose many of my passion fruit plants since I am finding it really difficult to irrigate them all. There are over 200 plants spread across the farm and most of these are till young and not yet hardy enough! Vegetables (collards) are also wilting. I hope things change soon!

That does sound very worrying.

I will pray that God helps you keep your plants alive, and makes things easier for you.
