No matter how long my day is, I still enjoy cooking for my family. There’s something relaxing about seeing them enjoy a meal I made. It’s like the tiredness disappears once I hear, “This is good!”
How about you — what’s your favorite meal to cook for your family?

I do love cooking for my family . . . but I don't mind getting a break from it too
. There is a satisfaction in making something delicious for your family - and bravo if it can be on the healthy side. Not sure I have a favorite meal . . . we love eating so I say it's all good

I don’t like cooking, and as I live alone, I now only cook for myself. I think it might be because I had to cook so much as a teenager. My mom was incredibly sick for several years, starting when I turned twelve. So for the next two years, my older sister and I took turns cooking. Two years into my mom’s health saga my sister went to college, and all the cooking was left to me. I think that may be why I don’t like it now. I was more than glad to do it at the time; helping made me feel great. However, I did get weary of it after four years of repeated cooking, plus chores and school.
