The Doctor Gave Away Free Pies

I had a chiropractor appointment this morning as the office will be closed the rest of the week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The doctor was calling it Pie Day and giving away free pies to all patients today.
I had my choice between a pumpkin pie and an apple pie and I chose pumpkin.
It was a very festive mood at the doctor's office.

Wow! That was nice of them. I would have accepted an apple pie. (I don't know anybody IRL, who eats pumpkin pie.)

It's for hubby. He will eat any kind of pie. I rationalized that apple pie was available all year 'round while pumpkin pie was only seasonal, so take opportunity while it was here

How cool! My old dentist had candy at the counter during the holidays, and I said that was just job security.

That is a very nice doctor, I love pumpkin pie but none for me this year,
