Local Food Industries helping reduce strain on larger industries

As population increases I have realized that reliance on conventional industries is but un option. Our local markets and eve villages here in Kenya have witnessed the springing up of small food industries. In our village for instance there are a number of bakeries and flour mills. We therefore do not have to depend on flour and pastry from conventional large industries in the towns and cities. Other products being made available by these small industries include liquid soap, yogurt, fruit juice and meat products such as sausage and smokies. Do you have small scale industries in your area.

It makes a lot of sense for products to be made locally. It's so good for the local economy if this is happening.
