Have you been reading about these horrific kidnappings of young schoolchildren in Nigeria? More than 300 students were kidnapped last week. 300! Apparently criminal gangs kidnap people for ransom even though the payment of ransoms has been outlawed in Nigeria as a way to try to stop the supply of money to the criminal gangs, There were three abductions last week starting with 20 schoolgirls who were kidnapped on Monday from a boarding school. The gangs also attacked a church where they killed two people and abducted 38 others. When I was in Kenya I met a young girl who had been abducted in Somolia and I won't say what horrible things were done to her but I'm sure you can read between the lines here. This is a heinous crime. I wonder if Nigerian government and military and police can do something about it?
