Uses for origami

Origami, the Japanese art of folding paper, is something many of us have probably tried at one time or another. I know I’ve made a few frogs and fairly simple things like that. But I thought of it as an artform and an activity for people with time on their hands, I never really thought of it as a useful skill. So this video just blew me away, I thought it was absolutely fascinating. Who knew that origami would be important in space exploration??
