Does Anyone Remember the "Tammy Tell Me True" Series of Movies?

I was watching a very good episode from Golden Age Files, a channel on YouTube last night, which I will talk about further in another post. But when they talked about Debby Reynolds, it reminded me of this series of 4 movies she did one of in the late 50s. She did one where she portrays a young woman from the Mississippi swamps. She has been living on a river boat with her grandpa when he passes away. She packs up and her and her nanny goat set out for town. The rest of the movie is her adventure in a little college town she moves to. A delightful movie. Do you remember these?

Debby Reynolds was before my time. I never did see any of her movies before.

I THINK I remember those movies. I pretty much grew up on old, harmless movies that kids today would turn up their nose to. Which is a shame.

I haven't seen this but have seen Debbie Reynolds in other movies and shows. I like the older shows so may look this up.
