Well hopefully. The 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals released a decision yesterday that former parking garage lawyer Alina Habba was not eligible to be the Acting Attorney for the District of New Jersey. It is like the same thing that just happened with Lindsay Halligan in Virginia which is why the DOJ cases against James Comey and Leticia James were tossed last week. They were appointed as "acting" and either weren't even eligible for that or overstayed that time period without being Senate confirmed.
Habba never had any business being appointed to that position. She is Trump's former personal lawyer who royally screwed up NY $250 million civil fraud case for him. She literally didn't check the box asking for a jury trial. She is one more member of the Trump sycophant MAGA cult who has been given a job for which she was wholly unqualified. (Looking at you Kegseth)

Maybe he'll appoint Rudy Giuliani instead. He's infinitely more qualified.

You do realize, that by the judge doing this, it only extends the statute of limitations by, I believe, 18 months more. So case is still open, whether she's going to be the lawyer or not. This is just one of three(?) Investigations being looked into concerning him. Also, technically an "acting" appointee has the same duties as an approved one. There's just a time limit on it. It's constitutional.
Judge could've just told her to correct the error and to be back when it's corrected. This judge messed up.

And her time limit is expired just like Linsdey Halligan's is. Both are unqualified in principle and also in their disastrous attempts to be lawyers/prosecutors.
The judge didn't mess up. Habba did. It isn't the judge's job to point out her errors.
