It Was A Productive Day Afterall

Some days I get up with such good intentions and then get basically nothing done. But, today turned out to be a winner!! I got all my Christmas cards written, addressed and stamped and ready to go out in tomorrows mail. Yay me Just finished lunch when my phone rang and my good friend needed a shoulder. She's going through some family stuff and although i can't be much help, I can listen. I've learned a long time ago that sometimes you really only need someone to listen. So, I put my phone on speaker and worked on my crocheting while she talked. I have been working on a reading blanket for a customer and it's 3/4 done. My friend did me a big favor by calling because I probably wouldn't have just sat here and crocheted otherwise. Decided to just grill up the chicken for dinner and bake the potatoes. Broccoli as our veggie. My list is growing shorter as I cross things off and it's a good feeling and I don't feel quite as stressed. Tomorrow I'll run my errands and get that done before the weekend arrives. Did you accomplish much today?
