4 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from COLD Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 9 F and feels like -1F. Having been out in it today, I can say, it also feels like -1F.
I'm thankful.
This morning I had my chiropractor appointment, which went well. Then I took my neighbor to Applebees/IHOP for breakfast. We both had omelets. The food was delicious. We also went to COSTCO for a few groceries I needed from there. Then we went to Spectrum. She set up an appointment to have a technician come out and get her cable working again. I then asked a question about my phone which has been giving me nothing but trouble for a long time. I needed to contact my son's girlfriend, since I'm part of a four-party plan. Three hours later, I have a new phone. The only thing it doesn't do, but hopefully will tomorrow, is connect with my hearing aids. I'm hoping it's only a weather thing as I noticed it happened occasionally with the other phone too.
I knew it would be a long day today. My neighbor didn't wait with me at Spectrum, but went home. My son gave me a ride to Hy-Vee where I got a couple of essentials, I already have bananas, so I don't need more. Found a Secret Santa gift, that I still need to deliver, and was home around 4.
It was a good day. Not only did I treat my neighbor for breakfast, but I also saw my son and his girlfriend. That makes for the perfect day.

I'm thankful Today's appoitment went well, better than I could've hoped. They managed to send the medication to the right location, and said they got a conformation fax. Hpefully tomorrow it'll be in the system and we'll get a text it's ready.

Sounds like a wonderful day. I'm so glad you got a new phone. Hopefully, your hearing aids will connect. I'm grateful the septic system is getting along and more in on the ball to get finished. I'm blessed to receive more photos of my grandson, who has down syndrome. He is growing so fast and has two speeds, fast and faster.

Thankful for being able to do my Friday blogging and now if my SS arrives as usual in my account tomorrow and I can order my groceries, I will be a happy camper.

I'm glad you had a good day. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head in this bitterly cold weather. It was 10 last night. My heart and prayers go out to those that are homeless. I could never survive outside this time of year.

Those are great things to be thankful for! It sounds like a very good day.
I’m thankful my primary care was willing to do a telehealth appointment at the last minute this morning. I’m also thankful my pain management doctor finally called me back for the telephone appointment he was supposed to have with me yesterday. I’m thankful my dad paid for a prescription I could not afford, and I’m thankful my dog seems to be feeling better.

I'm glad your primary talked to you on a telehealth appointment. I'm glad your pain management doctor called you back. I've never done phone appointments.
I'm glad your dad paid for a prescription you needed. I'm glad your dog is feeling better.
