Tom made Sausage Balls to take to the Post for the Memorial. Tom got up and talked about his friend and almost lost it a couple of times, but gathered up and did a really good job. I collected my winnings from the drawing..put a total of $60 in the pull tab machine and won over $150. There was a lot of good food, but the Cherry Cobbler was by far the best selection. Wasn't really what you call a Cobbler. It was in a rectangular dish, and on top was like a pecan brown sugar mixture. It was just awsome. We didn't have any sausage balls left to take home. LOL Tom had too much to drink, and I ended up driving us home in HIS truck. If I had a pillow under me I could've seen better, but we made it...no thanks to his Passenger Seat Driving. Atleast he was awake. I drove us home from Niceville Mullet Festival a few years ago in the truck he had back then that I had Never Driven. He was passed out with his foot hanging out the window and he lost his flip flop..I just kept going. Couldn't get him awake and just left him in the truck. He asked me why I didn't wake him up when we got home. I told him it is hard to wake a DeadHead. He doesn't over do it often, but he lost a Good Friend..so I took care of Him.
