How dare President Trump using the military to bomb drug cartels in international waters who are importing dangerous drugs like cocaine, heroin and fentanyl into our country. These criminal foreigners who transport illegal drugs are only trying to make a living and feed their families.
The Trump Administration's efforts to blow up these boats and save thousands of American lives in the process is not Constitutional according to Democrat senators and the mainstream media. Killing defenseless criminals' shame on Trump.
But wait a minute, didn't President Obama use similar tactics declaring Isis war criminals and conducting raids on these terrorists without Congressional approval. Yes, he did, using drones to kill al-Baghdadi and members of his family (including an 8-year-old son). Obama ordered killings and did not take any prisoners! Yet, Dems and the liberal media are up in arms over Trump's drug cartel killings.
And didn't President George W. Bush use the same tactics after 9-11-2001, to go after any suspected terrorist group which presents a threat to the U.S. without having to get Congressional permission to act. Yes, he did.
What the media is not telling you is that what constitutes war crimes (Geneva Convention) completely changed with the Twin Tower and Pentagon attacks of 2001.
Hmm, then perhaps I'm being "unfair" to President Trump for employing similar methods to keep American lives safe from these drug cartels. Maybe the mainstream media and those Democrats who object to these cartel raids should ease up on the criticism.
I wonder if they will eventually realize President Trump's only intentions are to protect us by destroying these criminals and their source of harm. Drugs which lead to U.S. fatalities. Nah, probably not...
