Alexa Has New Voices

There's a new version of Alexa, I think they're calling it the "enhanced" version that downloaded to my Echo Dot yesterday. She has her original voice, plus 3 other female voices and now 4 male voices to choose from. It's funny hearing the different ones and hearing ones you don't like and thinking "Who would choose that one?" I went for the "calm male" voice this time just to change things up a little. I might go back to the original female Alexa voice because that's what I'm used to. Apparently Alexa does a gazillion things that I didn't even know it did. I mostly use it to ask weather and general questions like time zone and currency differences between home and where I'll be traveling. Do you use Alexa? What all do you use it for?

Yes, I use it..but not every day. I don't have a clock in the living room so I usually ask what the time is if it isn't on the display. Other mundane questions like temperature etc. I do know Alexa has a lot of skills though, sometimes I play games. The one on the TV fetches..TV programming for me.

No, I don’t, and even if I could afford it, I wouldn’t. I just don’t trust them and what they are used for. And, I’m okay with sounding nutty.

I don't use any of the AI stuff... You can't trust what it says because it could be "hallucinating".
