Tanzanian Government unlikely to survive the wave of protests

Today 09.12.2025 is Independence Day in Tanzania. The newly “elected” president however urged her subjects to stay at home unless they have to get out on very important work. The country therefore won’t hold any celebrations to mark the important holiday. Critics to the leader openly warned her of a probability of being toppled as even the western countries continue to call for action following the police brutality on protesters after announcement of her victory. Important roads have been blocked in major cities and there is police and military presence in almost every part of the East African Country. It is very likely that the subjects, especially the youth are not satisfied with the electoral process which saw the president “win” with over 90 % of the votes that were cast.

I hope there won't be widespread violence. If things like voting are don't correctly, there is bound to be trouble.
