The Nakki lake in Mount Abu freezes in winter

In went to Nakki Lake in Mount Abu in Rajasthan during november. In december it freezes. Although the state of Rajasthan is known for sand and deserts, there are hills also there. Due to the altitude it is cold in winter. Travellers do boating in the lake.

thanks Ocean actually there is a shiva temple adjacent to the lake. So she had the clothes to offer a puja

@sathviksouvik I was at Mt Abu in November 1979. There was torrential rain and I had to stay at Abu Road for a night because no buses could manage the drive up the mountain in such heavy rain.

It would seem strange to be boating on the lake one day then, a few months later, to see it covered in ice.

yes Judy for three months there is no activity on the ice filled lake
