Yesterday because I didn't have any Bird food, I didn't feed any of the "Kids". We left and did some errands. Stopped at Groc Outlet and they had some cheap bird seed, so I got it and some other things. Got home and I fed the birds and the Kitties. Then I saw Buddy coming down the tree and he took a peanut. Later Tom and I were sitting in the garage, and I looked out at the feeder. Buddy was sitting on the feeder. I know he KNEW there was no corn on it, but he pretended he didn't. I told him No Corn Today. I turned to talk to Tom, and caught a glimpse of Buddy on the feeder...Paws in front of him with his head down looking so pitiful. What's a "Step" Mom to do? I got ONE ear of corn. He stayed on the feeder until he saw I was really going to put it on there. LOL There is No Way I could have walked away from such a Sad Sad Pittiful looking squirrel like Buddy looked sitting on that feeder. Okay, I agree...Buddy has trained me good...and here I thought I was training him.

It seems like you were a very fast learner or maybe Buddy is a 'human whisperer'.
