Poinsettias tug my heart strings

Poinsettias are like John the Baptist. They announce the advent of the Saviour. For me , December is not December without poinsettias . On the other hand, Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas without poinsettias. In the olden times I used to get Christmas cards, many of which had pictures of the colored leaves on them. Now , I receive fewer Christmas cards, much fewer and cards with poinsettias are almost nil. However, the poinsettias in my flower garden are bright and beautiful. They are eagerly waiting for the happy day. The house mother has also bought these two pots with "Christmas flowers". In the morning when I go out jogging I pass these pots smiling at me brightly. Gradually, the joyful mood is setting in and I'm sure it will peak at the right time. Dear friends, how are your days passing?
