Bought a pair of ducks to comfort me after having lost all but one chicken in my farm

My fear that the remaining chicken would also die is fading as she looks improving. It is almost the second week since the others died but she seems getting stronger although she coughs every now and then. The good thing about her is that she feeds well and drinks a lot of water. So I decided to buy a pair of young ducks to be around her. She seems to get along with the ducks well, and I am glad any time I watch them compete for morsels or just hang around the farm. Another thing about the ducks is that a farmer told me they are not affected by new castle disease. They also mature quickly. Sadly however, they have great appetite for vegetables!
