As Christmas and New Year season unfolds many Kenyans living or working in urban areas are traveling back to their rural homes. They are returning to celebrate Christmas holidays as well as take part in local cultural festivals where cultural heritage is to be appreciated by way of song, dance, sports, sharing traditional meals and drinks.
