Today was good for me, not so much for George.

Once again, I'm on later than planned, because George and I have been busy. First things first, I want to say that I got my wallet back along with all of it's cards. I won't have to deal with the DMV until next year. So, I'm happy about that. I was actually dreading replacing my I.D. or the idea someone could use it. We weren't planning to go to EWalmart, but George was looking for old-school maps that showed everything. But, with the fact gps exists and people download what they're looking for, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything like that unless you found a place that sold a world Atlis, and even that's a streach. The maps we did find, George wasn't to happy with. He couldn't see what he was looking for. IThis is where the Afasia and his stroke really get in him in trouble. And, where there's a communication breakdown t between his mind, and what's coming out of his mouth.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would've hated having to get a new I.D. I keep George's licience seperated, so there's no way both would be lost.

@kaylachan When I was hospitaluzed last August, I ask my grandson to do an errand for me. I gave ATM card to check if my monthly pension and not yer credited by the bank. He went back to the hospital to inform just to tell me thst he lost it while travreling. So my ID is needed to get a replacement for my lost card. Alas he couldn't find my SC ID to where he placed. So I waited one more day till my hospital discharge. To make the story short, I got a new ID. When I went home from the office of Senior Citizens, my grandson handed to me my old ID. I just laughed. Why he's only 22 years old, he's absent-minded.

@Nakitakona That happens to the best of us, I'm afraid.

That's great that you got your wallet back. Yeah, the DMV is no fun. I was lucky this year and was able to get my ID card online. I probably won't be that lucky again. Although how much can old lady change over 4 years anyway? You have to go to a school supply store or something like that to find a map.

We tried Tripple A, and George wasn't happy with what he was given. I flat out told him, if he can't find what he's looking for there, then it likely doesn't exist.

Yeah. I have air tags coming, and as soon as they arrive, I'm going to set up one and put it in it.

"Afasia and his stroke really get in him in trouble" I know how that goes when they can't find what they are looking for & they get testy & lose their manners towards us, Mine went through the same thing, it's not fun when that happens.

No. And it's not his fault. It gets frusterating for the both of us.
