India has too much smog. In the city Lucknow there has been absolute smog that is fog and smoke. In the evening when the umpires went to inspect the field they saw visibility was almost nil. So the India v South Africa T20 match was cancelled. It is really a big concern in winter in the big cities.

Yes that match had to be canceled.
I think certain venues in North India should not have matches during the extreme winters.
Visibility problems do come up.
The matches should have been scheduled down South.

Pollution is high for many cities in India.
All state Governments and Centre should take serious steps to combat it.
Plus us, the common citizens too.

Oh dear! That smog must be really bad for a cricket match to be cancelled.

Good idea not to play a match was cancelled due to excessive fog.

It should be written as "Lucknow" has fog, where I live in india does not have smog or even strong winter.
