It's the first day of winter. My favorite season of the year. It's 26F with a high today of 34F. Possible snow. I'm still fighting a cold, though it's not as bad as yesterday. I'm hoping to see this gone before tomorrow. I don't want to miss church. Especially the candlelight Christmas service. I don't know how much I will be here today. I'm playing it by ear. I'm feeling drained and want to go back to bed, so I'll probably do that. What are/were your plans for today? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I hope you feel better quickly. It's 45F at 6:45 am and we're looking for a high of 57F today. We need to go shopping. I thought we'd do that yesterday but Pretty didn't wake up until after 5 pm. I'll have to go by myself if I want to get groceries for Christmas dinner. I'm not looking forward to going shopping by myself. Too many people with colds and flu around right now, even if I will be wearing a mask.

@DaddyEvil Can't you order Online groceries sometimes? It would save you from stepping into crowded stores.

Hard for me to believe your fave season is winter in frigid Green Bay. I enjoy winter to a certain extent, but fall is still my favorite season.

First Day of Winter?? That is surprising! Or is it official start of winters? Cold in winters can be very bad. I had terrible cough, cold and fever in Mid November. Due to high air pollution around, remnants of cough persisted more. In fact, many folks here have had longer recovery for cough and cold. I hope that you recover well enough in time for Sunday Christmas service. I went to a local place for some work. Then we removed old newspapers and cardboards plus some Steel bottles etc. to the scrap dealer. We earned some bucks but more important was the fact that we were able to clean a part of our store room. That is more vital. Now spending some time here and awaiting the Tea Time, which we might have after an hour.

My wife and I went to the market and bought the basic needs. There are so many people in the market of course for it's market.
