I cancelled the Baking Club's cookie swap

No one responded that they wanted to participate after a few posts in the Google Classroom so I was like fine. "No meeting Monday and I'll see you all in the new year." It would have been short and sweet with everyone just making themselves plates of cookies but no one responded. Hey fine with me. I get paid that little stipend no matter how many meetings we have.
I put out the plans for the 1st meeting in January--making homemade marshmallows and then having hot chocolate the next morning with them. We shall see who wants to show up to learn how to do that. Stay tuned!

The worst part of my old job was that my boss insisted that I call teachers and educators during Christmas break to verify they were coming to the conference. Who in the heck is going to answer their phone for business over the break??? No, you swap cookies after the holidays.
