Just Renewed and Upgraded My Subscription to Microsoft 365

I have worked in offices all my life and been using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) for over 30 years. I use those applications still at home a lot for various purposes and have a subscription online to Microsoft Office 365. But they just raised their annual fee. Just like everybody else. Then I got an email telling me I could get the PREMIUM version for the same price, so I did. It includes photo editing, video editing, AI bot (Co-Pilot) and more. Do you use Microsoft Office?

Yes. I bought mine as a lifetime back in 2016, when I was taking more college courses. It auto updates at no extra cost.

Really? I wish I'd have known about the lifetime option.

@LooeyVille When I first bought it, I planned to keep taking courses over the years and it had different prices for time. I calculated and found the life was the best.

I actually use Microsoft Store now, I think the new Microsoft Office does too much calculations.

I had no option but to pay more for the update but then I had an email saying the wrong information had been given out and if I didn't want to upgrade, they'd repay my money.

@LooeyVille It's amazing what AI can do. I use ChatGPT for lots of information-gathering.

I like the new photo editing features as I love to edit photos. And I played around with creating a "photo" with words using AI. It was freaky!

Yes. I purchase it every time I get a new computer and don't have to pay an annual fee.

Before I used it but I later realized when it kept on upgrading that it's a business wise. Then I stopped.
