Parshe fish is called mullets. It is a river fish. Beyond taking away the scales, the guts are also taken away by making a small mark near the abdomen of the fish Then it is fried and cooked as a watery curry with potatoes. It can be eaten with rice or chapatis. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/zweCJFXnmf4

I know mullets are fish. They're eaten here, too. I have a mullet haircut. That is me in 1996. Photo is mine.
