First, let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I keep encountering this question: "Who were you in your past life?" So, do you believe in reincarnation? Although I am a Catholic, I have some thoughts that perhaps we have been reborn over and over again because, according to some scientists, energy never dies - only it transforms into another form. What if when we die, our energy (soul or consciousness) transforms into another form? And that we don't really die but assume a different form until our soul finds another human being to be reborn again? What are your thoughts on this? Image is mine.

I do NOT believe in reincarnation, just the incarnation of Jesus Christ and when we die, if we were believers and saved by Jesus, we go to Heaven.

Not sure how I believe. There has been stories about people who have proved that they have lived before. So who really knows.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! I read about something that seems interesting to me... Your soul is a part of a greater being. The being got bored with eternal life by itself so tore itself into many pieces and created worlds for those pieces to live on and collect experiences. When you die, you return to the being and share your experiences until you decide to go out and live life again.

I don’t believe in reincarnation. I believe when we die we spend eternity in one of two places.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too. I have no idea about my previous existence, if at all. I have across some with unusual recall of previous lives and who they were with. Many Hindus believe we can be reborn till we complete our karma/destiny and our soul merges with the universal soul.
