How do you avoid getting Winter lethargy?

I have Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and "get the blues" and down in the dumps in the Winter. It's hard. I mostly want to crawl under a blanket and stay there. But I do have a "Happy Light" therapy light that I can use 20 minutes a day to help with it. They're about $49 on Amazon.

Seasonal Affective Disorder affects a lot of people. Several people on Mylot even have “Happy Lights”. I try to stay active, if not physically, then mentally by reading, talking to others, or getting online and researching things.
But what you’re going through is perfectly normal. I really hope you can find ways to alleviate how you are feeling.
