While I was out and about today I stopped at Bojangles (chicken place) for lunch. I ordered the two piece which of course comes with a biscuit. It came in a box. Well, that biscuit almost burned my fingers I am not kidding. The chicken was normal temp as was the "dirty" rice...but I could not believe how really hot the biscuit was. It should have come with a warning label.

I'm glad you didn't burn yourself. Red Lobster usually has red hot food.

I haven't been to Red Lobster for a couple of years. I had a mystery shop there once It was Friday night and it took 45 minutes to get the food out..

I’m usually having trouble with getting cold food from restaurants, rarely food that was too hot. Come to think of it, the last time my food was burning the roof of my mouth was from a chicken place; but not the biscuit, definitely the chicken.

I too would have expected that more with the chicken. I hear you on the cold food. I hate biting into something from a restaurant and finding it is not warm enough.
