Trying a New Low Carb Tortilla Chip

United States

I'm looking for snacking options while trying to limit carbs and sugar. I'm also trying to get more savory than sweet. So I found these chips online and they had them at Kroger, so I bought a bag of the Himalayan Salt ones and the Nacho Cheese (not real cheese) ones. The salty ones are passable. The nacho ones are really not that great. I could see me eating the salty ones just to have something to eat that crunches, but they're not outstanding or anything. They're vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, blah, blah, blah. They are made with chickpeas and other "organic" stuff, so really what did I expect they were going to taste like? Do you have a suggestion on any "healthy" snacks?

For a nice relatively non processed snack you could do apple slices with peanut butter unless you are allergic to the peanut butter.

You mean "real food?" Oh, heaven forbid! Just kidding, I need to learn how to eat real food.

No, I don’t have the problem of needing “healthy” things. People can’t believe that I lost 60 pounds eating at Chuy’s!

Oh, man. I can’t really think of snacks to buy in that same vein. They just never taste that good.

I snack on veggie sticks or veggie poppables. They are low salt which I have to have. I also eat a Nature's Bakery Brownie. It doesn't have any processed ingredients which I can't have.

@LooeyVille Walmart. I order them online each week; and then cousin #2 picks up my order every Monday.

I will research that Nature's Bakery Brownie. - - I just did. Other than having a lot of carbs it doesn't have any nuts and looks healthy for me too. Where do you buy yours?
