No Money, No Respect

Here is a man. He is in his seventies. Very simple, polite and honest to the core. He was a stammerer when he was in middle school. Even in college he was a stammerer.
The speech defect cost him a lot. He could not clear any interview and could not have a job. Nor could he ever have a business.
His friends respect him, but he couldn't earn the same respect from his own family. Even those who are much younger to him doesn't pay him due respect.
They don't respect him just because he does not earn and has never earned money because of stammering. On the contrary, the members of his own family who are arrogant, cheaters and characterless are respected
What do you think about such a man?? Should he not be be respected only because he doesn't have money??

Thank you, my friend. I'm sorry to know your family doesn't love you. What do you do?? Don't you have a source of income??
My suggestion is, try to find a job in your own country. It would be difficult for you to have a source of income in a foreign country.

@Shivram59 well I feel sorry more on those bad people coz I know they live in bitterness more and can you imagine how they love? I think they are the saddest while they lauughing like a lunantic.

Sometimes those with most money deserve less respect because of the way they have achieved their wealth.
Someone with a stammer should be just as respected as anyone else
Just because he has never worked should not make a difference to the respect afforded to him by others

I agree. I respect the man because he has noble qualities. And he deserves respect. Despite his speech defect he still keeps learning in his old age. He is truthful and kind. By nature he is soft spoken and helpful.

Thank you. I often think if a person of noble character doesn't deserve respect if he doesn't have money. Is money everything??
I often meet him and we talk. He never shares his pain with me or others.

Stammering should not stop him from doing business if getting employed was not working. I have seen many people who are abled differently make it in life but I hope he finds peace
