Have you ever "re-gifted" anything?

About 25 years ago, I suffered a horrible tragedy. A really cool bird feeder was given to me by my step-sister at Christmas. It was a really nice, and tasteful, bird feeder, and I love feeding birds, but there was an issue. I immediately recognized it as the bird feeder had gifted my step-mom maybe two Christmases prior. This means my step-mom had re-gifted the bird feeder to my step-sister, who in turn, re-gifted it to me. I was traumatized. I can't remember what happened to the bird feeder. Perhaps I left it with my step-brother, at whose house the tragic event had occurred. But I am not without sin. Yesterday, I re-gifted something: a tin of cookies I had been given by one of my guitar students. I brought it, along with a bottle of nice wine (that I actually bought) to dinner at Paula and Minar's last night. Have you ever re-gifted something? Have you ever been "re-gifted"?
