Cold

I woke up this morning and off course it was very cold in my room as usual because the vent is closed and my curtain is not up. The apartment complex wants us to keep it at least 71 degrees in our apartments.
As well they want us to leave the living room closet open, which we cannot because it is not safe with a baby living here. They also want us to keep the cabinet's open in the master bathroom. But my daughter and her boyfriend refuse to do that.
However when I went out and looked at the thermastat this morning it said 67 degrees when I had it set at 73 degrees! It did that yesterday too. I never can get it to 71 especially when someone keep turning the heat off.

It's winter here,too, and we have a coldwave here. The temperature here in my town is 12 C. That's very cold to us. We measured temperature in Celcius.
In some parts our state the temperature has fallen down to 4 C.

@dfollin Really!! It's very very cold here. Now when I'm commenting back to you, I've wrapped myself with five blankets

Bee! I would pile on the jammies and footwear, I think. Many people don't change but our wardrobes can. Brr!

@dfollin .......Layers are good. My grandson wears shorts year-round.

Thanks! I can't open my vent. This is the only apartment complex I have ever seen where we have ever seen where we have to put in a maintainance request to have them come open my vents! Weird! My room is so small and I had to put all of my stuff in here except what's in the bathroom so I cannot because the vent area is blocked.

I keep my heat set at 71. It's pretty chilly in here though.
