I told myself I'd do better, and I plan on it. I am watching Freekier Friday on our new visio t.v. because George decided we needed a larger t.v. screen. He was surprised the t.v. was more wide than tall, but it's gorgous. but, now... I love the sound.
And, as a blind girllie, it's totally accessable. I didn't have to ask George to help me scroll through endless settings to turn on the screen reader. I'll have to explore the settings at a later time and find out if it has audio discription, because Roku.... does not.

Telling yourself you’ll do better and truly planning on it is a powerful mindset to start with. It just keeps us focussed and determined. Watching a familiar, comforting movie like *Freaky Friday* sounds like the perfect way to ease into that intention. The new Vizio TV clearly turned out to be a pleasant surprise, especially with the wider screen. It’s funny how screen proportions still catch people off guard sometimes. What really stands out is how much you love the sound, which can make such a difference in the viewing experience. Even more important is how accessible the TV is for you right out of the box. Not needing help to turn on the screen reader is a huge win. That kind of independence matters more than most people realize. It is the experience which counts. It must have felt empowering to navigate it on your own. Exploring the settings later sounds like a good plan rather than turning it into a chore. Hopefully it includes audio description so the experience is even richer. It’s refreshing to hear about technology actually making things easier instead of harder. Enjoy the time!
