Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
I know I haven't been around too much again.... just haven't known a lot to share about.
It's that time when people are sharing their resolutions and everything for the year, so I thought I would share something. I'm not making resolutions - I never stick to them.
My main goal is to conceive this year. Once I do, I want to be healthier of course - so starting to do things this month (haven't yet, but once all the holiday junk is gone).
The doctor wants me to be under 6% A1c if I conceive, so I need to start working on that - last time I was at 6.7.
I am going to work on cutting out carbs as much as I can - I am going to do lower carb, but not "Keto" or carnivore. I will focus on getting a lot of protein, iron, other vitamins, etc...
Should I start sharing a what I eat in a day while trying to conceive journey?
I would like to get the inflammation off of my body - it makes it painful to do anything. I know it is the carbs that causes it.
No photo currently, tried to add one but didn't work.

It is completely fine to be quiet and away when life gets busy. Also, you need not make New year resolutions if they do not feel right for you. Having a goal, like wanting to have a baby is a thing because it is something that really matters to you. Wanting to take care of your health because you want to have a baby is a big decision. And you planning to focus on health by cutting down cards isa great step forward. Eating more protein and healthy food is definitely a big step as well. At same time, I would also suggest exercising if possible. Both will bring the benefits if not quickly but certainly. I am pretty sure your A1c will be down by taking these two measures. If you are comfortable then you can definitely share “what I eat in a day” everyday. People may encourage the journey. All the best for your journey!

You should be able to add a photo now. I'm interested in anything you want to report. Daily meals, whatever.

Well I am sure inflammation is what is causing a lot of my pain....so it would be nice to get rid of it. I've given up regular soda for the most part myself, but I do like the zero sugar sodas which I don't plan to ever give up. Hope that you can, if that is what you want to do.

I don't know what will, think my lack of caring about myself is what is partly in my way.

If you give us a daily what you eat, it will give you more accountability.

I've never been good with keeping up with it in the past though (sharing my meals) and don't know how well I'll stick with changing my food. I know I will definitely once I get my positive, but cutting out carbs is going to be difficult.
