The Sleeping Prophet

It is amazing to me that two of the most famous prophets in the country had prophesized about Trump in their own way. Not only did Jean Dixon has her psychic revelations about him but so did Edgar Cayce. He was a unique and fascinating man. He lived from 1877 to 1945, and between 1901 and 1945 he did more than 14,000 readings. He would go into a self-induced state of sleep and made some very specific and intricate, even medical predictions. One of these predictions has to do with what he calls "a time of great change. When the country will go through its worst change." He spoke of a figure who would rise in power during a time of intense division. He would "divide the nation like never before". There will be economic turmoil, natural calamities, and a time when the very essence of American would be at stake." It would be a "second coming" with lessons that need to be learned. Cayce spoke of his as a builder, someone associated with towers and gold. A person who would vow to restore the greatness back but would encounter an unprecedented challenge along the way. Cayce spoke of three major crisis' that would occur: economic one, environmental and a constitutional crisis. That the east coast would have a water related disaster. That there would also be legal accountability for his past actions and a time in 2026 when these issues will no longer be overlooked or brushed aside. He foretold all of this in 1945. Long before Trump was even in the media or known. The picture is from my collection.

People can predict and sometimes be right. I am weary of fortune tellers. There were a few bad presidents over time. Our country took a bad turn during covid and escalated since. It's my own opinion though. Not pushed on anyone else.

Very easy to predict "That the east coast would have a water related disaster." Hurricanes happen every year...

@noni1959 ........There's a big difference between a fortune teller and a psychic. I have experienced it and so I believe.

@BarBaraPrz We have flooding, earthquakes and more. We had a historical atmospheric river hit. But, we are near an ocean, so there's that.

I remember reading about Cayce when I was a teen. I even made my mother read the book (don't know what happened to it). The only thing I really remember from it was that he cured someone's cancer by telling the man to eat 3 raw almonds a day...

The same prediction of a figure who would rise in power and divide a nation was made by Nostradamus very long time ago. If you look at the past this happened many times in history and every time we thing "that is the person"!

Sometimes that's true. Other times it's pretty obvious who they are talking about.

@celticeagle - If we could really know what is going to happen we would have less problems in the world. What is going to happen with Venezuela from now on? What are those "prophets" saying?

The comments seem to fit Trump so far but perhaps they would have fitted another leader just as well.

You know they just showed that movie Nuremberg. It was not terrible, brought some interesting light and showed they made the right call. Its going to be true for Trump and MAGA eventually.I think its why they made it even though could have been done better. People can say all kinds of things, but do you really want to live the rest of your life this hateful and deceitful really where no one can trust anyone? Its not a good way to live. That is what I took out of it anyways?

I hope people can see the signs. I don't want to live for three more years with him as president.

I recall Mark Twain's words "It's difficult to make predictions, especially about the future." However, Cayce's predictions look prescient. Time for damage control.

Unless you have a special sense like Cayce and Dixon had.

I believe he's gifted of such vision to foretell what will happen in the future. His prophecy should be taken seriously.
