We didn’t celebrate New Year until today, January 3rd, and honestly, it was low-key perfect. My siblings, our spouses, the kids, and even the dogs were all there. The house stayed loud—kids running around, dogs underfoot, someone always reheating leftovers. We laughed at old stories and caught up on life with no pressure and no big plans, just chill vibes. By the end of the day, everyone was sprawled on the couches, tired and content. It just hit me : life doesn’t need perfect timing or big moments. Sometimes, showing up together is more than enough.
