Fast and Testimony Sunday
Today is the 1st Sunday of the month of January and it's our fast and testimony day.
This year 2026, our Sunday Sacrament service will start at 9 am and at 10 follows Sunday school.
On this Sunday, the members may have the privilege to share their faith-promoting experiences so as to strengthen others.
Hope you may have them too. Happy Sabbath Day.

So, you also fast in your religion, as was advocated in the Bible for religious minded people to do too.
Fasting helps us to concentrate our minds onto God, and to move a bit further away from thinking only of our secular lives.
Reflecting on faith, and the ways that others build their faith, sounds like a good way to strengthen faith too.

@Nakitakona Fasting becomes harder as you get older, especially if one gets something like diabetes.

@innertalks Probably it depends as long as one's health is okay. If not why compromise.
