I went to the website of my phone provider, and chatted with someone. Evidently, because I ordered a new SIM card, the old one was turned off. My new SIM card, I was told, will arrive in 7-10 days. I guess when I reported the phone lost, they turned it off so that no one else could use it? Anyway...one of these days I will be able to make calls and text people again. I hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

If you buy a new SIM card in your area, do you have to wait for days? It's not like in my area where every cell phone shop sells them.

I didn't buy it, the cell phone company is sending it to me. My phone is from a government program for low income people.

That sounds about right, unfortunately. I just hope when they say 7 to 10 days they actually mean it.

I just got a tracking email that says my package is in Texas. When I checked the USPS site, I saw the the item came from Fort Worth, TX, and is currently in Dallas. It's supposed to be here, according to the site, on the ninth.

Here we only need to wait a few minutes to replace it with a new card and the old card will be immediately deactivated.

I bet you feel lost without your phone, I know when my phone is down, or had one stolen, and I felt lost.

I'm sorry to read you had one stolen. My trouble is that I can communicate with a lot of people, and I'm missing notifications.
