I found it ironical when the president of Kenya, in his new year address to the nation, hinted to impose a death penalty to persons who will be found guilty for drug trafficking. It is the same leader who sent a contingent of government officials to Thailand to beg the Thai government to spare the life of a Kenyan who had been found guilty of smuggling cocaine by a Thai court. The Kenyan was rescued and when she returned home was set free instead of being locked up for life as had been suggested by the Thai court! I find the president's utterances somewhat ironical more since he even knows that the drug dealers comprise senior people in his government and some in the private sector, most of whom sponsored his campaigns!

Glad you also realized. We are in for real drama and disappointment as long as we have Ruto as president of Kenya.

He was promising at first. But as he became obsessed, he turned into a very different, heartless person.

@SIDIKIMPOLE That is often the problem when people come into power. They change and become greedy and uncaring.
