Just realized AFCON games have been on for a fortnight or longer!

Even though I am not a staunch follower of soccer, it has caught me by surprise the the Africa Cup of Nations games have been on for a fortnight and are already at the quarter final level. I think it is because they began during festive season when I was too busy with other things. At the same time, I am also much into the European Premier League matches to pay attention to any other games. I keenly follow Arsenal and Liverpool games because they tend to be very thrilling. Probably, I will start watching the AFCON when they reach the semi final stage.

We watched an interesting film the other day but Lefter, a very talented Greek? Turkish? player from years ago. I think he was born in 1920.

@SIDIKIMPOLE This is the full name of the player - Lefter Kucukandonyadis - and the film is called 'Lefter: The Story of the Ordinarus'.

I don’t really watch soccer, but my best friend loves it.

Soccer is an interesting game to watch if you support a team.

I enjoy watching bits and pieces of soccer, but don't really follow the sport.

Not so different with my case. I tend to follow some specific teams in a league, and only watch when they are playing
