What is the most popular book series for 12th graders now?

I have a student who I have been teaching online for 4 years. We finally finished the series of books: The Story of the World. We learned from the Nomads all the way up to George Bush I. So I need another series of books that she might like to study? What do you suggest? Thanks in Advance!!!

I'm not a historian,but i think the chronology,relational graph and methodic notes will help a lot.Using it as a tool,will be easier to study.
