We did a lot of running around the last couple of days, so before heading home this afternoon I made sure we knocked out all the errands and were fully stocked to survive until Monday. Mission accomplished. ?? On the way back from our second trip to town, we stopped at a local spot and I used some of my online earnings to treat us to dinner. Chris and my MIL went with shrimp and fries, she-child got a burger and fries, and he-child took off at warp speed after school to hang out with friends, so he missed dinner altogether. I had fried catfish and fries, which absolutely understood the assignment. After dinner, it’s been all piddly, low-key stuff. I did a little cleaning and gave she-child a Mini Brands “Make It” craft. It has tiny ingredients, a recipe card, and you cure it under UV light—honestly way cuter than it has any right to be. I made one too, because obviously. Now we’re watching ATL, and I’m about to dive back into reading a series of prison emails for a freelance project (light bedtime reading, right?). Hope everyone’s having a good night.
