Today was one of those nonstop running-around days, so by the time we finally made it home, I wanted something fast, hot, and filling. No thinking. No extra steps. Just comfort food and warmth.
It’s sitting in the mid-forties outside and steadily getting colder, the kind of cold that makes your bones ask for gravy. So I made homemade gravy and tossed some biscuits in the oven like a responsible adult who knows her limits.
Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. Just easy, tasty, stick-to-your-ribs food that warms you up and makes the day feel officially over.
10/10 would choose biscuits and gravy over doing literally anything else tonight.

@Bensen32 I mean its not the cheapest meal I make because milk is like $5.50, biscuits are $4, sausage is $4-$8. lol so yeah its cheapish but i can make cheaper meals for sure

@thislittlepennyearns Sounds like a good plan and there is a bonus...it's pretty cheap too.
