They do no real research, listen to no actual experts. They make some conclusion based on farce, and proceed. Failure never teaches them anything. Anyone who did a slight glance at world trade would know that most countries in the world trade with China. Anyone who did a bit of research would know that trade between third world countries and the United States has declined. The facts are there, but stupid people, such as Trump, do no research, assuming he knows everything. The tariffs did not hurt other countries, as much as the United States. But Trump doesn't know that. The withholding of VISAs and increase in cost will mean that people will stay in their own countries or travel elsewhere. America has spent decades 'abducting' the best and brightest of other nations. Whether in the medical field. or technology, the US has gone with unbelievable packages to entice the best and brightest to immigrate. Now, they will stay 'home' or be recruited by other nations. It is not a problem for most. Only those split families will mourn, meaning those abroad will be sending more money home. Sending it via bank deposits where their family can use a debit card. Deciding he wants to capture Greenland, (which you know he will rename 'Trumpland') he will attack America's allies who disagree. This is not a real problem for European nations. They don't have to buy or sell to the US. There are other markets. Don't try to explain reality to Trump. He doesn't live there.
