Another Cold Night.

Brrr. It's been cold all week, and tonight is no different. Ah, winter on the East Coast. It'll be slightly warm tomorrow and Thursday, and then back to being pretty cold again. Actually, we're looking at snow this weekend. I ran to the grocery store earlier, and one of my last-minute must-haves was maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal. We also have original oatmeal in the house. It's in a canister and doesn't take long to cook. Anywho, both work for cold weather. So, I had some maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal for "dessert" tonight. I was gonna have cereal, but I wanted something warm. Now, I'm under my heated blanket. I used birthday money to order it last winter, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I only have it on 3, and I'm warm. I also have a chihuahua/toy poodle mix lying next to me. He may be small, but he's also furry and will keep me warm lol. .....And vice versa. He thinks my heated blanket also belongs to him. I keep it under another blanket because I don't wanna risk it being too warm for him. He sleeps on top of the blankets. Anywho, I'm cozy for now, unless my Bella (other dog, prefers to sleep in her own space) needs to go outside again. But at least I can get back under the covers once she's in and settled. But for now, both the pups are asleep, safe and warm. I also took a Melatonin, and it's slowly kicking in. I'm going to eventually switch from The Dick Van Dyke Show to The Golden Girls and get some sleep.
