Our streetlights went out

Our streetlights went out about two hours ago and haven't come back on
Yet in the next street then lights are still on.
In all the years I have lived here the lights in this street have never gone out.
It's really spooky, it's very quiet
Have your street lights ever gone out before?
Were other streets lights still on?
Let's hope the street lights come back on soon.

I hope so too.
I just thought that it was a bit strange it only seems to be out street
A neighbour just texted and asked if I knew why the lights were out.
How would I know

Yes here they do go off most of the times it's always an uncomfortable situation especially if you still outside. I hope it comes back soon

The lights in my neighborhood went out for about three hours last year due to weather conditions. It was during the afternoon though. I hope that you get electricity soon.

Yes, they went out almost every other day a few years back. But now the situation is changed. Now they are on every night. For last ten years our electric department has become much responsible.

We don't have street lights in my area. Some do pay extra on their electric bill to have them at their house. I like the darkness

We don't have street lights on our street. It's a semi rural area. I have a standby generator that comes on when the power goes out. Do you have power again?
