Saturday Night Tipple Yvonne bought me this one for Xmas and I thought that it is about time that I opened it and sampled the contents So I will do so I have some nice 7up to use as a mixer which may or my not be good, but I hope it will be pleasant Aber Falls, I had never heard of this before so I hope Yvonne has chosen well. Bottoms up!! Gin Liqueur anyone, Wild Raspberries are one of life's real pleasures Gin is another So let's hope they couple well. Cheers

Cheers! I just added a bit of Crown Royal to my watered down Sprite from earlier this afternoon when I got home. It tastes much better

Sprite Wow I have not had Sprite in decades. 7up is better than I remember When you say you added a bit how big a bit and what strength is Crown Royal

@Ineeddentures Sprite is about the only soda I drink as it is decaffeinated. Brings on too many UT infections drinking regular sodas. I don't drink Sprite often though. That all depends on the size of the glass!!

It's 80 proof.

@ineeddentures Good choice. I settled to tasting the Old Comber whiskey my son bought me at Christmas. Nice and charcoaly with smoke and peat.

Yvonne chose well right enough. Old Comber sounds like something I would quite like. I finished my Haig Clubman and I think I need to buy another bottle Strangest Whisky I have ever had. Can't put my finger on why, but it was pleasant and had a hidden kick.
