I am watching the television just now.
I am watching a program called Countryfile
But before that I watched the BBC1 early evening news
And there was a bit on about the Storms raging across America and the cold temperatureas
The reporter was reporting from Washington DC. It has obviously snowed a lot there
She looked cold. Very cold.

It's very cold here, too, and we are several hours south of DC. Right now it's about 17F (-8C)

I don't watch the news--I don't think we're having snowstorms in California, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time I was).

We are slowly warming up with this ice storm. But cold temps at night will refreeze areas like roads.
