Do You Schedule Your Weekends or Go With the Flow?

Some people love to map out their Friday nights and weekends in advance. Others prefer to keep things open, letting the mood and opportunities guide them as they go. I’m somewhere in between. I like having one or two things planned, but I also leave gaps for spontaneous plans. How about you? Are you a weekend planner or a “let’s see what happens” type?

Ever since my husband retired, had his stroke, and we've been home full-time, every day seems to blend into the other. Often it's a go-with-the-flow type of life, with the exception of scheduled times for meds and doctor's appointments.

When life changes so much, going with the flow can feel like the most peaceful option.

@Tendz09 I agree with you on that one.

I like to plan ahead of time. Knowing what to expect makes me feel better. And, with all the snow here, I definitely knew I’d be staying home for several days!

Planning really can be comforting, specially when weather throws surprises at you.

I’m kind of in between too - like a little structure but plenty of room for ‘oops, let’s do this instead’ moments

A little structure keeps things sane, and the flexibility leaves room for fun surprises
