My First Time with This Really Bad Cold

I've never been as sick as now. I caught a really bad cold like I felt I could die. Is this covid? The fever was really terrible I was like hallucinating. It made me wakeful for the past three days.
I went to the hospital and the doctor prescribed so many medicines to take.
Have you ever experienced like this?

Bless your heart, it must be terrible. I got pretty sick when I came back from Disneyland two months ago, but I don’t think I was quite as sick as you. It lasted a good two weeks, but hopefully you won’t be ailing that long. Please take all the medicine you are able to that were prescribed. I’ll say a prayer for you.

Must be a flu. The flu virus these days is so different from the flu virus before. Get well soon.

That sounds more like Covid than a cold. There is nothing but pain relievers for a cold but they can give you meds for Covid.
If it's Covid, you shouldn't be out in public until it's run its course so you don't pass it to anyone else. Stay home, tell your boyfriend to stay away for a week, at least.
